How to type I tilde (Ĩ)

Copy the character, or use the shortcut that matches your keyboard and app.

Windows

Hold Alt and type 296 on the numeric keypad.

Option + N, then I

Ctrl + Shift + ~, then i — or type 0128 then Alt + X

Insert → Special characters → I tilde

Click the keycap, then paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.

Num Lock on, hold Alt, type 296, release Alt.
