How to type M with accents (ḿṁṃḾṀṂ)

Windows

Hold Alt and type the code on the numeric keypad. Codes are in the table below. On a laptop without a keypad, copy and paste is faster.

Mac

For common marks, press an Option dead key, then m. Example: Option + E, then m for acute. Other forms are in Character Viewer (Control + Command + Space).

Word & Docs

In Word, use Ctrl plus the accent, then m, or type the Unicode hex and press Alt + X. In Google Docs use Insert → Special characters and search the letter name.
