How to type e tilde (ẽ)

Windows

Hold Alt and type 7869 on the numeric keypad.

Option + N, then E

Ctrl + Shift + ~, then e — or type 1EBD then Alt + X

Insert → Special characters → e tilde

Click the keycap, then paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.

Num Lock on, hold Alt, type 7869, release Alt.
