How to type U tilde (Ũ)

Copy the character, or use the shortcut that matches your keyboard and app.

Windows

Hold Alt and type 360 on the numeric keypad.

Option + N, then U

Ctrl + Shift + ~, then u — or type 0168 then Alt + X

Insert → Special characters → U tilde

Click the keycap, then paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.

Num Lock on, hold Alt, type 360, release Alt.
