How to type u bar (ʉ)

Windows

Hold Alt and type 649 on the numeric keypad.

Character Viewer → u bar

Type 0289 then Alt + X

Insert → Special characters → u bar

Click the keycap, then paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.

Num Lock on, hold Alt, type 649, release Alt.
